WHO IS JESUS? 

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ was born in the first-century and is widely regarded as the most influential person in history and the central figure of Christianity. Whilst many accept Jesus as a good role model or teacher, for us as a community of people, we have found Jesus to be so much more than that.

Here are six things to think about Jesus…

Jesus is Real: Jesus really did exist as both a historical and transformational figure in history

Jesus is Relevant: He is relevant for every situation and circumstance in our life TODAY.

Jesus is a Reflection: If we want to know what God is like, we can look at the character and person of Jesus. And when we look, we discover that GOD IS really really GOOD!

Jesus is a Rescuer: Through his death and resurrection, we believe that Jesus has made a way to be rescued from the mess in our lives and in this world. This is why people call him a saviour.

Jesus is a Revolutionary: Your life can be transformed as you understand who God is and what he wants us to do with our lives. It is like joining a revolution of hope and everyone is invited to play their part.  

Jesus is offering Relationship: Life is not meant to be lived alone and we can not only know Jesus for ourselves but be part of an amazing community.

 THERE IS GOOD NEWS

God LOVED

God loved you so much that he put into motion the greatest rescue plan so you could be in a relationship with Him.

God sent his son, Jesus, to be love in human flesh on this broken Earth. Jesus willingly died on a cross for your sins and suffered judgement and death for you.

But death could not hold Jesus down. Jesus defeated sin once and for all on the third day when He rose from the grave. Jesus is alive. This victory now gives us freedom from death!

Jesus did for us what we could not do for ourselves and made a way back to God where there was no way. His power is the only power that can raise us from the dead and give us eternal life.

This is the Gospel, This is the Good News

 SAY YES TO JESUS

Salvation: you can’t earn it, you don’t deserve it, but you can receive it. The invitation is yours. It is a free gift given to us through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through his ultimate sacrifice, we are accepted into the family of God. It inspires us to live our lives wholly and fully for God, with the purpose of showing God’s love in everything we do.

If you want to move from death to life and know for sure that you are right with God, then place your faith in Jesus as the Savior and the Lord of your life. It’s not a magic formula, but a humble prayer to the God of the Universe who created, loved and rescued you. You can pray this in your own words…

Jesus,

I want to be saved. I want LIFE! I confess my sins and ask for forgiveness. I believe that You loved me so much that You came to die on the cross for my sins and that You rose from the dead to defeat all sin and death once and for all. I receive Your love, grace, and the gift of eternal life today! I put my old life behind me and choose to trust and follow You alone as my personal Lord and Savior.
